Los trabajos arqueol\u00f3gicos han documentado diversas fases de construcci\u00f3n. Una primera fase atestigua la presencia de un \u00e1bside semicircular anterior al actual y podr\u00eda pertenecer a la iglesia rom\u00e1nica no localizada de Santa Fe de Talltorta. La segunda fase documentada es la del momento de construcci\u00f3n del edificio actual, fechada en 1667.<\/p>\n<p>La joya art\u00edstica del edificio son las pinturas murales de Sant Climent de Talltorta, del siglo XVIII, y declaradas Bien Cultural de Inter\u00e9s Nacional. De artista desconocido, utilizando la t\u00e9cnica del temple, cubren completamente paredes y b\u00f3vedas con un repertorio rico y extenso de temas y motivos florales y arquitect\u00f3nicos, adem\u00e1s de representaciones de escenas b\u00edblicas. Estas pinturas son un ejemplo de la utilizaci\u00f3n del arte como instrumento doctrinal y visual para la poblaci\u00f3n analfabeta. El mensaje que propone es la salvaci\u00f3n del alma humana, resuelto con un tono artesanal que le da una singularidad y un encanto \u00fanicos.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n\n<style
